Pin Curls
I put my hair in pin curls last night and slept with them in over night. It was kinda uncomfortable, but I really wanted to see how it would work out. I took them out this morning, and my hair still wasn't dry, which was disappointing (but my hair is sooo thick I expected it). I dried it up a bit, and brushed the heck out of my hair, and I think it turned out well.
I don't think I'll be sleeping in pin curls every evening, but it's a good break for my hair from the heat I usually have to use on it.

I love it when a lady can pull of a vintage look (it's really not for everyone) so that's why I very much enjoyed this post (I newly discovered your blog).
ReplyDeletewow, I think it looks fantastic! Yeah, they aren't the most comfortable thing in the world, that's for sure. I sleep with a padded scarf on, which helps, have you tried rag curls yet? They are so comfy and pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. I love that dress, by the way. You look gorgeous in yellow! x
ReplyDeleteThe second last photo is pure gorgeous. Reminds me of the Captain America movie hehe. xx opinionslave

I love that dress! Pin curls really suit you! I think they look very natural compared to making curls with heat. Maybe you could try rag curls to see if they are softer to sleep on?
