I'm in Mobile with Tyler's family, relaxing before the start of student teaching (*gasp*). I've realized my outfits lately are once again composed of almost all neutrals. Maybe it's a traveling thing, but it's always a hard habit to break. I love my neutrals.
Tyler and I have been running around the past few days registering, it's so much fun! Today we registered at Williams-Sonoma. I drooled over all the lovely things, and I have my fingers crossed that we'll at least get a few goodies from there.
blouse american apparel
pants anthropologie
belt j crew
shoes minnetonka
scarf vintage/the hip zipper
Do not be deceived by the scarf in my last picture, I did not in fact wear it out, I just felt my poor neutral outfit needed a little color to spice things up.
I hope all you darlings are having a fantastic week!

Em
I love your pictures/outfits! They're so classic! I hope you get some WS goodies as well! <3
ReplyDeleteGreat pants! And I know you probably get this all the time, but your hair is just stunning. Congrats on the registering! I hope you get lots of lovely things!
ReplyDeleteLove the paper bag waist on the pants! Even neutrals don't look neutral on you! Everything looks glam! Registering is fun, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get wonderful goodies!

I agree, these neutrals look gorgeous on you. You look fabulous in very simple clothing. And who doesn't love WS? I am still wishing for the rice cooker I registered for :)
ReplyDeleteThese photos are stunning. What filters do you use? They all have a hazy, old-movie look. I wouldn't be surprised if Humphrey Bogart walked into a shot.

Oh my gosh, Williams-Sonoma is like heaven to me!
ReplyDeleteJen: I usually de-saturate my photos quite a bit and then mess with changing the colors of the blacks. I usually make them blue. :)
ReplyDeleteyour hair looks beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteI love neutrals too! You're so lovely ♥ Registering for a wedding sounds like so much fun, it's like the ultimate wishlist!
ReplyDeleteYou're more beautiful with every entry. I love your hair.
ReplyDeleteNeutrals are always a winner when travelling - they go with everything else you've packed!
ReplyDeleteI ship out with the family on friday for our madcap annual family holiday...let's just say I won't be looking as stylish as you...bog standard jeans and tees for me. x
My goodness you are beautiful! Neutrals are maybe the easiest choice when traveling? Easy to mix and match...
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks fantastic! Did you pincurl it?
ReplyDeleteMary: No I actually used hot sticks. They get pretty much the same effect as pin curling.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting! I'm in love with your pants, my thrift-search for similar ones continues...

Yes, it's a neutral, casual outfit, but when your hair and make-up are done so well you will always look fabulous!
