Smile Like You Mean it

I'm so amazingly happy that tomorrow is Friday. My student teaching is still going super well, it's just really wearing me out. Tomorrow Tyler and I will go to Nashville and we'll get to see an open apartment that looks just like ours (ours doesn't free up until October 1), so I'm really excited about that. There's so much to be excited about in the future it's been a little hard to get through the here and now, but I know I need to enjoy the process.

This jacket is part of a beautiful 40's suit I own, but the skirt portion is a little too tight to teach in, so I had to break it up.

You'll have to excuse my roots in these photos. Tyler dyed my hair and it is processing as I type this. Yay for freshly done hair.

  2. No, but I color it myself (or I should say Ty does). It's just a light red and blond combination :)

  3. You look different with this make-up [first I thought you're not wearing make up at all and I was so jealous, that you look so good with no make up], or it's just the lighting? :)
Oh, and I always thought that you should be extremely happy if your man dyes your hairs [cause I always need to ask help from my friends ]:D x

  4. I love it paired with this spotty skirt! I actually just nabbed a '40s suit of my very own - so so exciting!

Best of luck with the teaching. I remember how tiring my stints of it were, I would nap every afternoon after school!

I love your outfits so much, I like how you take a lot of vintage inspiration in your looks but don't wear 100% vintage, it's lovely :)
