Yep, I did it. I know my hair isn't looking wonderful in these but I just wanted to show you all the change. The whole reason I did this was because I need to start growing out my hair with it's natural color. My hair is so damaged it's ready for a break. This is a demi permanent color so it will fade out and eventually show my natural color (which is not this dark at all). For now I'll have to keep getting it tinted every once in a while until the bleached part grows out, but after that...hello natural hair!
xo,
Em
Although I'm used to the blonde hair,I really like the color! It looks great! Did you do it yourself or have it done at a salon? I hope you're enjoying this rain we're having!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had it done at a salon. I really am, I'm hoping it keeps on raining :)
DeleteWow, what a contrast! For what it's worth, since it's such a contrast, the effect is dramatic:p
ReplyDeleteOhhh, Emma I love it! You remind me of Shirley Temple in the 40's with this color :D
ReplyDeleteThe new color is very fetching.
ReplyDeleteThe darker color looks pretty with your skin tone :)
ReplyDeleteSwoon, you are gorgeous the hair is looking divine! x
ReplyDeleteI think your natural hair color suites you the best. You look divine in this color, it looks so good with your complection!
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty, as usual. I really like this haircolour on you, and that style is so simple yet so cute!
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful with both hair colors, you're so pretty !
ReplyDeleteThe two thoughts that came to mind were how young you look with this hair colour and makeup, and that you remind me of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz movie. The hair colour is striking and very lovely. I hope your hair recovers in good time :)
ReplyDeleteNo matter what your hair colour is, you always look so good! :) Anything suits you!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love the lip colour too!
ReplyDeleteYou would look pretty with any hair color.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Trina44 - you look beautiful with any colour :)
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to ease back into my natural hair colour too. It's taking some time but I think it'll be worth it - I love this colour on you!

I think you're just one of those people who can pull off almost every type of reasonable hair color (you're so wonderfully lucky)! I have really dark/olive features so anything than my natural hair color just doesn't look very good. Sigh. I love this change! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletelooks great! i just did the same thing a few days ago, hoping i love my natural color when it grows in haha love this blue on you!
ReplyDeleteWith your coloring you can pull off almost any color. I like the blonde but this looks really great too! You look more youthful. I used to dye my hair red, which required bleaching it first, and it destroyed my hair. Now I stick with black. Its much easier.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteyou look awesome with your almost natural colour.

growing out my hair to it's natural color was the best thing I ever did. I was a blond forever...and then a raven head. Now I'm happy as can be with my brown. The only thing that bothers me? Gray! What?! I've spotted a few. Now those WILL be dyed! You look lovely as always, Emma!
ReplyDeleteCassie
What a lovely hue, it suits you beautifully and one can somehow really tell it's akin to your natural colour.

Snow White! I have yet to see a hair colour on you that doesn't work - you clearly have en eye for it!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE you brunette, it looks gorgeous!
