I wanted to remind all my lovely followers that in just a few short days Google Reader will be shutting down, so if you've been following me there, consider moving over to Bloglovin'. I've used it for a while now, and it's really great.
This dress is one of my favorites. I instagrammed it a while back, because when I first bought it a year ago I had to wear a corset, and now I need zero help getting into it. Yippee.
I wish Trashy Diva would bring back this print, I never got to buy it in the style I really wanted. I would seriously have five dresses in this print if I could.
Also, couldn't resist putting this close up in that Ty took. People are always telling me what lovely blue eyes I have, but they are green people! Seriously, green.

40's celluloid necklace flea market
I can't stop wearing this beautiful celluloid necklace I picked up at the flea market. I now feel the need to have a million celluloid necklaces.
What is an item you can't stop wearing?

I loooooooooooooove this dress!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I've seen trashy diva dresses around quite a bit but I can honestly say you're the only person who's really made me want one, you look so damn good! Right now I'm travelling so I have to wear the same thing day in and day out, instead I'm looking forward to wearing something I left at home... And heels! Because I couldn't backpack with heels... Xg
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that dress so much! I love Trashy Diva so much all of their dresses are so beautiful. The oriental buttons on this dress are a wonderful touch! I have a Trashy Diva dress in the same print as this one and it's one of my favorites, the sun crane pattern is divine.

The item I cannot stop wearing? My huge jangly charm bracelet, with silver charms collected over 10+ years. Sometimes I wonder if I should wear it in a library. It's so loud! But it's a fun conversation piece, and each charm has a story.
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful. Can I ask how you did it--going from needing a corset to slipping into it effortlessly?
Ohh, I love charm bracelets they are so great! Well, the weight loss thing is a bunch of things combined. I didn't want to directly write about it on the blog since it wasn't just one thing, but basically I was on birth control that made me gain a lot of weight and I worked really hard for months to loose weight and nothing was happening. So, went off that and dropped most of the weight within 3 weeks, ha. Also, I have a lot of stomach issues so I don't eat grains and sugars as a rule (though I do cheat from time to time hehe). Went to a holistic doctor and just changed that and I've been fairly active. But that's about it.
DeleteOh my I adore this outfit, the dress is perfect on you. I love the fastenings on it, remind me of cheongsams. xxx
