Opera and Hair Dying

Opera rehearsals have pretty much been taking all of my energy out of me, but today I finally got some outfit photos. I keep telling myself it's just until Monday, then the opera will be over, and then it'll be back to a regular kind of schedule. Don't get me wrong, I love being part of a production, it's just time consuming.

So, I've been considering dying my own hair. I've never done this before, and I felt it might be a good money saver. Do any of you have opinions on that? Good? Bad?

Now I'm off to watch some Lost before more opera rehearsal tonight.
Love!

  1. I've always dyed my own and it looks as good as the salon. As long as you are not doing some complicated multiple-tone thing, it is really easy and doesn't take more than an hour start to finish. You should totally try it! $6.95 for a box of Nice n' Easy trumps the salon.
P.S. Lost helped me get through last year's long winter. This year I'm hooked on 24.
    p.p.s. I love your blog!

  2. Bad. I love your red hair. Unless you are just adding highlight of coppery reds and tonal blonde then I say don't do it. Your hair is beautiful the color it is. Good luck with the Opera.

  3. Well, just re-dying it actually. My red hair is sadly just from the salon. My hair is actually a very light brown/dirty blond color. But, I'm glad it looks natural :)

  5. Thank you so much for following! Your blog is adorable so I'm so glad you commented so I could find it!

Your hair is beautiful!, but yes red is an expensive colour to keep up at a salon! Will you keep it the same colour, it suits you perfectly!

  6. Breeanna, Thank you! I think I will still stay in the red family, I'm really enjoying it right now.

Ayesha, Thanks so much! I'll keep it red for now, though I love to change it up :)
