I'm really liking hair styles with curls all loose and down, but I also want to master the art of the lovely up do, and perhaps learn how to work with tighter curls. One day soon I'm gonna try to pin curl my hair, it just intimidates me so I have to work up the courage :)

ReplyDeleteDon't be intimidated! Its easy! It just takes doing. If it doesn't turn out, just wear a scarf or a snood or do an updo. Also, remember to brush and brush and brush, that is the key to glorious do's like Rita's.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you've not tried them, I recommend pillow rollers or foam rollers. They're super easy to manage, and you get essentially the same results.

I love hair styles from past decades, especially during the golden age of Hollywood. Unfortunately, I am not talented in the hair department. All I can do is a messy, very messy bun or pony tail. I also like to straighten my hair stick straight and wear it down-this is probably why the late 60s and 70s was one of my fav decades.

oh pin curls are the best!!!!! it will look so good on you! i wore pin curls for my bachelorette party and i just adored it but i can be a lot of work. it was nice that my cousin did it for me. i think you would look amazing in all the above hairstyles!

These are amazing...curl falls out of my hair so quickly that none of these stand a chance on me. But they'd all look wonderful on you!
