I wore this outfit tonight for a double date night to Burger Up with Quincy and her husband Johnny, it was such a beautiful evening and Ty and I had such a blast with them. Sorry there's not a lot of variety in the photos, Ty went to take them and the camera died after about 10 photos.
I tried a different pin curl thing last night. I did larger kind of messy pin curls and I think it worked really well with my hair. Not only did it take much less time to do, but it also made me hair less huge. Because my hair is already naturally so curly sometimes when I pin curl it it just goes out of control and it's hard to tame.

I'm wanting to do some hair tutorials but I'm not sure if I should do photo or video tutorials. I think I've asked this question in the past, but which kind do you all find most helpful?
I hope all you darling have a wonderful weekend!

Such an adorable dress! I love the print and peter pan collar. And I agree 100% with Solanah. That hat is sharp! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so beautiful. I always envy your tiny waist :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer photo tutorials if they show all steps. It's easier for me to follow them :) Can't wait for yours cause your hair always looks amazing x
GORGEOUS.... I love this enitre outift.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit and your hair :)
ReplyDeleteI like video tutorials.
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is great :)
How adorable is your dress! I am slightly envious ;). You look super cute (I'm also loving the hair!) :).
ReplyDeleteYou just look like youre straight out of an old painting in these, the setting and the colours - makes ME want to paint it! So lovely, you're so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI generally find video tutorials more helpful, though admittedly I think some people do videos and forget that they have to show us the specifics - whereas in photos people remember to take photos of specific steps. Would love to see tutorials either way though! :)

Love the look!
ReplyDeleteAs for tutorials, I find that photo tutorials are more helpful. I am someone who likes to have the big picture first, which photo tutorials you can see with just a glance. Plus, its easier to see the steps and one can read over and analyze certain steps or parts without having to fiddle with trying to get to the right part of the video or have to watch ALL of it ALL over again. And you can see the the end result without having to take 10 or 15 minutes, so you can quickly decide if its a look you like and/or are skilled enough to do (even if its very easy to do, some people don't have the time and/or skills).
Great outfit! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look stunning! This dress is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'd love a tutorial. I often find videos easier to follow (visual person and all that!), but do what ever you like!
i love this outfit! the dress and fitted jacket look amazing! your hair also looks great! i think both work it just depends on what is easier for you to get the idea across. can't wait!

Wonderful! You look like a doll!:D
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweetly lovely colour palette. Redolent in a way of nautical themes, and yet thoroughly landlubber approved, too. You look entirely beautiful, dear gal.
