So after a bit of an absence, I'm back! Tyler is using this amazing camera (a Cannon 5D Mark II) and last week had recorded a make up tutorial, a hair tutorial, and got shots of an outfit for me. I was so excited to post everything, it all looked so great, and then...it all got deleted. That's right. All. Gone. It turned out the card reader and the memory card were corrupted and formed the perfect storm. So after that I was a little unmotivated to post, but the camera is back, and now I can show you guys some outfit photos!
The weather is all over the place here in Nashville. The last several days it has been well into the 90's and then today I think the high was 69. A little odd, but I'll actually take some cooler weather, it's nice.

This weekend Ty and I will be babysitting my siblings (though none of them need it) at my parents house while they are away on a trip for their 25 Anniversary! Congrats Mom and Dad!
What are your weekend plans?

It was 97 in Chicago on Sunday and was 60 today. Egads.
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit! The eyelets peeking out are a great little touch. Love the red shoes too. Sorry to hear about the deleting woes.
This weekend will be buying some IKEA furniture for my basement sewing space-to-be...and then probably putting together said furniture. There will probably be beer involved in that part. ;) Happy anniversary to your folks!
I wondered where you were. Glad you're back! Hellooooo, cardigan-librarian chic! I love the big bang roll.
ReplyDeleteYou look just exquisite! Your bangs look perfect, how do you do it?! ha.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your siblings this weekend. :]

Gotta love this fickle Tennessee weather, right? ;) Congrats to your parents! I think I've said this before, but I absolutely adore your style! :D Also, this weekend I plan on going to a Sounds game with some friends, but I don't know if that'll happen. Today the hubs & I went to McKay and got some movies & books. How long have you lived in Nashville?
ReplyDeletegorgeous outfit! I'll be studying all weekend. Got exams this Wednesday :( The weather has been really all over the place in Ireland too. We had really hot days for about a week and then it went back to being typically overcast and rainy. Ah well! I hope the nice weather comes back after my exams! :D

Lovely outfit! Your make-up looks stunning, especially with your black top. That's too bad about your memory card! I understand how un-motivating something like that can be. I hope you find the energy to re-film some of the tutorials though, as those are always welcome!
ReplyDeleteI only just booked two nights in Nashville for next month--I hope the weather works itself out by then! I don't want to have to pack a ton of stuff!
Oh darling, spectacular everything: outfit, poses, camera, makeup, hair...
ReplyDeleteWeekend - trying to stay warm on the opposite side of the world.

ReplyDeleteOuch I love the outfit! The top half is sooo noir, teamed with black tight skirt and seamed stockings it would be totally Noir!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the hair...It's totally divine! Are you hiding a hair rat under the bangs or have You just looped it like a big old suicide bang?
I hope that You are gonna make a hair tutorial on this one and that You have greater luck this time around...
My wekend plans is just to practice the halfmoon manicure and relax and eat, eat, eat...
Well, I'm having beige /putty nailpolish as the halfmoon and deep burgundy on the rest of the nail. So far so good as a first attempt it's pretty ok actually!

Oh my, that must have been so immensely frustrating for you. I've had similar experiences over the years, and know how they can completely knock the wind out of your sails for a while. I'm sorry you had to contend with that, dear gal. You gorgeous here! Grey, black and red is one of my favourite colour trios, and you've nailed it to a tee in this stylish outfit.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a stellar weekend,
♥ Jessica

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Playing catch-up here. Sorry about the bleh feeling you've had, but sounds like you are soaring up and out of it. I get like that sometimes. Feels yucky to be uninspired. If it is any help, I am always inspired by your lovely outfits and hair!! xoxo Lynn
