I have some great news personal and style wise today. Last week I got an interview with two schools who need to split a music teacher. The interview went extremely well and I feel I did my best, so even if I'm not chosen for the job I really feel good about it.
In style news I finally got my poor damaged hair to pin curl! My hair has to be dry starting out, then I have to brush all the waviness (my hair won't even curl naturally any more with how dead it is) out and lightly mist it with water and setting lotion and it works! So glad I finally have that figured out now.
I just got this new jumper from Modcloth yesterday, so I had to wear it out on date night. Sorry it's wrinkled it was just out of the package. It's actually a Bettie Page jumper, and I like it quite a bit. Since it's mostly synthetic it works up a sweat in the summer heat, but I imagine in the fall it'll be a nice layering piece.

I so hope you get the job! If I had a music teacher like you in school (so inspirational and cheerful!) I might have actually learned something. :P
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you worked out those pincurls. I've been struggling a looot with my hair lately and I'm at a loss on what to do with it. Cut it, curl it, pin it, dye it, just leave it? Meh. Some day I might figure it out too. :)
Congratulations on the interview, I have my fingers crossed for you :)
ReplyDeleteI just love all things green, and that skirt is just lovely--I don't blame you for putting it on right out of the box, I would have done the same! The matching nail polish is pretty spiffy too.
These pictures are honestly incredible, seriously. Capturing vintage so, so well.

I just came across your blog and I really liked it, I'm so envious of your pretty outfits! I wish they had more of this stuff in Sweden, where I live since it's too expensive to order things from the USA.
ReplyDeleteI think you should try coconut oil for your hair if it feels dry and damaged. Use it as a deep conditioner or/and everyday as a leave-in conditioner (just a drop or two for the driest parts od your hair). I've dyed my hair so much that it felt dry and looked so damaged but now it feels and looks better than it did before all the dying.
This looks really beautiful on you!!!
ReplyDeleteoh this outfit is super cute!! I love it!
