Today, lovely readers, I need some help from you. I'm planning a visit to Chicago (with my hubby and sister) in July. My sister and I are going to see Dita Von Teese perform *swoon* and we'll be there for a day and half. I need your knowledge of any good vintage or antique shops (or simply shops you love) and tasty places to eat. So what say you? Can you give me some suggestions?
Thank you so much lovelies!
xo,
Em
Green Zebra is the best restaurant I've ever been to. Even if you are not a vegetarian (it's all veg) I think you would still find it great. Chicago is a great city - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThis comment won't be of any use to you but I will look forward to seeing other responses as I was planning to do a similar post myself as I'll be in Chicago in September. I'll also have to keep an eye out for your own personal report of Chicago once you've been! I hear that a boat trip is a must if you're interested in architecture at all - there's good views from the river.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I can't be off too much help, as I've never been to Chicago or anywhere nearer to it than Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. I did however bookmark this link a few years back (http://www.timeoutchicago.com/shopping-style/shopping/65920/top-ten-vintage-shops), which might be of a little help (I have a habit of bookmarking any vintage stores or guides to stores for towns around the world, as I find them, because one just never knows where life might lead them).
ReplyDeleteI hope you guys have an amazing trip!
