So Close

Well, I seem to have disapeared again for a bit. Oh well, such is life sometimes.
I'm so close to my Christmas break I can almost taste it. Tomorrow is my last day (and it's only a half day) thank goodness, and then I shall be free for a bit. My body has been yearning for a break for a long while now. What with being sick for six weeks and now my cough is coming back (please, no more illness). I will treasure this time being off and hope that my body can go back to normal. Here is an outfit I wore to work the other day. Don't be deceived by my coatless-ness though, it was freezing.

The shoes that I'm wearing are a pair I had been lusting after forever on Remix, and finally saved up enough to purchase. I feel like a 40's star in them. I really never want to take them off.

  4. Oh no don't get sick again we need to see your lovely outfits!! I love this ensemble - its colorful but still quite subtle and perfect for the cold weather? I'm feeling envious of everyone's winter outfits now - the dilemma of living down under!

  12. Those shoes are worth every penny, dear gal, they look flat out stunning! I wish I could follow your lead, but my feet are somewhat hard to fit and I've struck out more often then not when ordering online (I usually have to try on 100-200+ pairs of shoes in person to find even one that fits me moderately well), so I haven't dared risk it with such a pricey brand yet (much as I've been tempted to time and time again - including now, after seeing these stunners on you). Who knows, maybe one day I'll work up the nerve and save up the money to do so, fingers (and, aptly, toes) firmly crossed.

Wishing you the very merriest of holiday seasons!
