Accomplished

I'm sorry I've been a bit quiet for a few days. I've been stressing out and preparing for my senior recital...which is now over! I'm so relieved. As soon as it was finished I felt like I was walking on air. It went so well, and I'm so happy it's over. Here are a few photo's of me and my crazy family.

These are my two wonderful sisters. Hannah on the left and Sarah on the right.

This is my amazing family. From left to right: Jesse (the baby of the family, he just turned 13!) my mom, me (obviously) Sarah, then my dad, David, and Hannah. Love them all so much.

I'm happy beyond belief that my senior recital is over, but it's almost bitter sweet. As I sang my last song, I thought of my first year in college, how my senior recital seemed so far away. I know it's only college, but I think this is the first part of my life where I'm beginning to realize how quickly time goes by. It feels like just the other day I was enrolling to become a student at Union, and now I have my student teaching to do in the fall, and then I'm done. I'll get married in less than a year. Wow, those are some wonderful but big steps. I'm so excited to see what the future holds, and completely blessed to have such a loving and supportive family and fiance.

xo,
 Em

  4. I love the first picture of you. It is so reminiscent of an accomplished opera singer belting out sweet melodies on a stage in front of hundreds of adoring fans. You look so regal and absolutely stunning. Now that I think about it you look like Veda from the HBO series, "Mildred Pierce." She is such a beautiful red head in this mini series. Congratulations on accomplishing your goals!
