Twirls And Such

Today has been a lovely day. We had a lot of biology work and had to go to class, but I got a lovely vintage dress in the mail from Adelaide's shop, and it is simply wonderful! I'll have to show it you all in the next day or two.

I tried those Sally Hansen nail polish strips the other day for the first time. I did the butter fly ones, and I quite like them. They're a fun change from plain nail polish, but it would get quite expensive to use them all the time. I've been wanting to do my nails like this, but haven't been able to find the little round sticky things to use for it. Have any of you ever done your nails like that?

You should check out "big box" sort of stores for the reinforcements. I think mine were like $2.00 for 500 of them or something?

  9. Oh I ALMOST bought those nail strips the other day but was dubious due to the price and I didn't know if they'd work. I'll give them a shot now :D

  10. this dress is lovely and seems like a good interchangeable season piece, which I always love. I have been wondering about the nail strips for awhile and thinking about giving them a try... hmm maybe this weekend :)

  13. i just adore how you layer cute collared tops with dresses! i try that but i haven't found anything that works. i think i may be a bit obsessed with polka dots. i thought about it and i think i literally have about 8 items that are polka dots! i can't help myself, it is so easy and such a classic pattern! i love the twirliness of your dress too :D

  17. Your dress is so very dreamy! I am loving the bold polka dots with the blouse. And I have to definitely agree with you- I tried the Sally Hansen nail polish and didn't really like it! I wore it for Valentine's Day but took it off shortly after. Looking lovely! xx

  18. you can run to a drug store or walmart and get some nail guides that are basically white skinny stickers used to make at home french tips that I've used to block off my half moons. The guides work pretty well and are super easy to use. I don't know if this helps but I thought I would just let you know! xoxo Ali

  19. I think you could use those rount 'dot' labels or those hollow circle stickers (the ones for reinforcing hole-punched holes?) to make the half-circle shape on your nails! I've been wanting to try it too because it looks so pretty~
