Ringing in a new year

It's been an amazing year here; so many changes and achievements. I started this blog, which ended up being a wonderful adventure, and I'm so excited for this up coming year to keep exploring what I want it to be. I got engaged!! And have been planning and looking forward to my wedding which will now be happening in about 20 days. I also graduated college. THANK GOODNESS that is done with. The point is that 2011 will always have a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to see what 2012 will bring.

This evening we went out and started our New Years celebration by eating at out favorite Indian restaurant. Yummm. I think later we're going to play a bunch of board games and perhaps watch some old movies.

  10. I love your fur stole and how you captured it in your pictures. I recently found a 1950's Neimen Marcus mink stole at an estate sale. I have never seen something more beautiful. I love vintage fur because we are not contributing to new animals being killed. That first over the shoulder picture of you is absolutely stunning.

  23. okay, this is slightly random but I've recently started watching a BBC series called "Land Girls" (and ohhhh I can't stop). It takes place during WWII and the wardrobe SO reminds me of you. Not just because of the era, but because specifically a lot of what they wear specifically reminds me of some of your outfits. You'd probably like it (if you like awesome BBC series with awesome costumes, that is). It's on Netflix if you have it!
