This is a lovely two piece set I found at the flea market here in town for a steal. I'm finding lately that the flea market is by far the best place to shop for vintage. You can almost always get it for a great price and you get to hunt for just what you want. If I'm being completely honest I have also become a little addicted to the thrill of the chase, so whenever I can make it out to the flea market, I do.
I have a question to ask you all. Do you like the big photos better or the small ones? I started trying to make all my photos the same size (horizontal and vertical) but I'm still unsure if I like the size. What do you think?

Really cute! And I like the big photos as well. I like to see details and I love when I don't have to enlarge them myself (lazy I know, but the less work I have to do when catching up on my blogroll while rocking a fussy baby the better).

ReplyDeleteI am in raptures over your outfit. LOVE it! It is the cutest set I have seen in ages. I am definitely going to hit some markets to try and dig up treasures - you have inspired me! (I like a big photo)
ReplyDeleteI like the big photos too i think! Love the outfit!

I like the current size of the photos! Also, this is really a fabulous find! I might have to check out my local flea markets more often!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the big pictures, it's easier to study the outfits that way. The set is absolutely wonderful! you (over there) are so lucky to be able to find these sort of things on fleamarkets, here in Denmark the country is so small (5,6 mill) that there isn't much vintage left and people used to use their clothes until they fell apart. Most of the clothes we can buy in shops are american (it is quite funny to think that most of my clothes have traveled longer than I ever have). by the way your lipstick is gorgeous on you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find Emma. I love how the two pieces look like a dress. As for the pictures I say bigger. These ones are perfect size in my opinion.

Big photos are best, it shows up the detail and that outfit is lovely, I completely understand the addiction to the 'thrill of the chase' that's definately the part I like best. Nothing beats an amazing find somewhere unexpected :)
ReplyDeleteThe large size photos make it so much easier to see outfit details. That two-piece outfit is perfect for you - nothing beats scoring a great bargain like that at a flea market!
ReplyDeleteStellar find, gorgeous gal! I just love the design of this set. The two shades of yellow on the skirt really jumps out at you and makes me think a bit of venetian blinds with glorious summertime sunshine radiating through them.

omg, what a find. this two piece set is adorable. i miss the flea markets in the town i just left already ... sniff. i have to find new hunting grounds ...
ReplyDeleteWhen I first glanced at this post, I thought it said "Flea Market Goddess," which I suppose is correct as well.
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a wonderful find! Looks amazing on you!
ReplyDeletethat is really gorgeous! i love the color combo too. and i like all big photos. Your photos are so lovely, it's nice to see them larger.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing find! Man I wish flea markets here had stuff like this. Toronto is very over priced for vintage and most of our flea markets carry 1980's vintage.
ReplyDeleteAs for the size of images, I have been debating that on my own blog. I like the bigger size and that is because I don't have to click on the image to see it larger (I'm so lazy lol!) or for my blog "my readers" don't have to take an extra step to see my picture. As I learned in marketing, keep things to as few steps as possible (even a simple click) makes a big difference for your reader. Besides is just looks so nice with the larger photos I think :)
Wow, what a find!
